Chad gave the girls flowers for Valentine's Day and we decided to snap a pic of them because they wouldn't look the same when we returned 10 days later...
The girls were champs on the trip there. Wren slept 90% of the trip. We ran into some road work that set us back around an hour, plus we had to stop for dinner and to feed Wren. The normal 5 and 1/2 hour trip took us over 7 and 1/2.
Cousins reunited! Harper and Skylar were best buddies yet again and had a ball playing together. It won't be long until Wren is in on the fun too.

A few days before heading back, Harper woke up not feeling well. Fever, some vomiting, congestion... all around yuckiness. This was what she looked back on the trip back home... not feeling good at all. She coughed and sneezed the whole way.
The night we came back was Harper's worst night. Her fever shot up again and the vomiting returned. We didn't get much sleep that night. I ended up taking her to the doctor the next day just to rule out anything really bad, but of course... just viral. Or so they say?!? :)
She stayed home from school most of the week and has gotten better, but still not 100%. Chad and I had a couple days of congestion and Wren has so far been spared. Let's hope it stays that way!
Our 10 day visit went by so quickly. It was a lot of fun, but we are happy to be home and back in our daily routine. After this trip, we decided it was time to move Wren into her nursery (finally) and so far she has been sleeping great! Her half-birthday is right around the corner!
